What rebates and incentives are offered to those in this Bidirectional Energy V2X program?
In California:
- If you qualify for the program, you are eligible for the rebate, which maxes out at $9,241 or 75% (whichever figure is lower) for bidirectional charging-related equipment from Wallbox as well as installation by COIL. Bidirectional Energy will file for your rebate as soon as your bidirectional charger is installed. (See here for more on timing.
- You can earn up to $1,500/yr through this program in performance payments through utility bill savings and grid event participation during the10-year life of your charger.
In Connecticut:
- The maximum rebate for the IES program is $10,889.
- Beyond the rebate, once you are installed and activated, Connecticut participants will also receive up to $1,350 in performance payments over the first year for participating in load-reduction events. These payments are separate from the rebate.
