What assurance do I have that I’ll receive a rebate, and what level of rebate can I expect?
Once you've signed the participation agreement, your rebates are guaranteed as long as you abide by outlined terms.
Your initial rebate amount is provided to you alongside your quote from the electrician. Since the rebate applies only to charger-related hardware and installation costs, the typical rebate range we’re seeing is $8,800 - $9,241 in California and $8,500 - $10,889 in Connecticut. Again, the figure depends on your system cost – applying to 75% or your state’s maximum, whichever is lower. In California, the maximum rebate is $9,241, and in Connecticut, the maximum rebate is $10,889.
We have a limited number of rebates, and once you sign the participation agreement, which includes our terms, you will have a “spot” in the program (See California and Connecticut).
NOTE: If you have not signed the participation agreement, you have not fully signed up for the program and your rebate is not guaranteed. If you are interested in rebates and incentives, please ensure you have signed the participation agreement once invited to do so. To be invited, start by confirming your eligibility for our programs.
After installation, the rebate will be processed and paid out within 6-8 weeks. Please note that the rebate requires a minimum participation in bidirectional V2G charging for at least 12 months.
