What are the benefits of participating in the CA and CT programs?

  1. Utility bill savings (V2H) - If you’re on a time-varying rate (sometimes known as a “time of use” or TOU rate), use your EV to power your home when electricity prices are at the higher time of day and charge your EV during the cheaper times of day
  2. Earn rewards (V2G) - Make money by selling power back to the grid during a grid event 
  3. Home back-up - optional add-on to use your car to power your home when the grid goes down
