If my home has solar panels, can I participate in this program?

Those in California with solar installed at their residence can still participate in this program and are able by default to remain on their existing net energy metering (NEM) rate, whether NEM 1.0, NEM 2.0, or NEM 3.0.

You should prepare to provide the additional following documents to the electricians before receiving your installation quote for this program:

● Copy of executed contract with solar installer
● Copy of the city-approved plan set for the solar equipment
● Copy of the NEM application for the solar equipment (if you applied for this).
