How do I ensure that I have enough charge to use my vehicle for driving?
You set app defaults and can manually adjust as needed.
You have full control of how much charge you want and by when:
1) The Ready-By feature in the Bidirectional Energy app allows you to set all your schedules, so your car is ready on time to drive.
2) Your EV defaults to reserving a minimum of 20% battery charge, ensuring you will always be able to use your vehicle when you need it. You can change these driving minimum defaults in the EV itself, and the Bidirectional Energy app will detect this change in cars connected to our system, ensuring we never discharge below that specified minimum.
Notifications for an upcoming “grid event” are typically sent to us and passed onto you 12-24 hours before they take place, allowing you time to make updates based on your known needs at the time.
